Unfortunately many modern yogurts contains too little live bacteria to be helpful and can be full of sugar. You can always make homemade yogurt or look for an unsweetened brand and make sure it contains live bacteria. You need to avoid vinegar and its best to make your own salad dressing. Try fresh lemon juice with extra virgin olive oil. In fact, you can be liberal with the use of olive oil. Fresh ginger can be a good condiment for your yeast problem as well. Plus you can use it in a number of dishes like salads, tofu, meat dishes, and soups. Not only does it contain properties that might help treat the infection, but it is generally good for your digestion as well.
